The best inexpensive robot vacuum Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top best robot vacuum for the money vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of one button. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough maps of your home to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it does not have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong for example, low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The best robot vacuum cleaner and mop vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot vacuum mops mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best mop and vacuum combo robot known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
