If you're looking to save money and don't want a stroller that doubles up as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy when navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also features a multi-position reclined seat and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested, but was nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features that we think you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller, for example, a larger basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward-facing position and can also pivot. This is helpful in rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we let them swivel and it did this quite well, although it seemed a little bumpier than others in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is best single stroller 2024 known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers that jog. But they also produce a wide variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds small single stroller enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than other strollers that we tested but the wheels are rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry even with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be lowered to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of groceries. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are available separately). In twin mode the seats can be positioned to face one another or rotate around to face the parents, theoretically reducing sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It has a huge bottle holder, a gear tray as well as snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also comes with a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.
